Can I disable the AI features?
Yes. All AI features are controlled using a dedicated Booster. The project owner can enable it or not and manage the profile of users who can use it.
Will AWS Transform for mainframe refactor or third-party model providers use customer inputs or outputs from Amazon Bedrock to train or improve models?
No.
Is any customer data (source code, project artifacts, etc.) transferred outside the customer's AWS account or the AWS Transform for mainframe refactor environment associated with the customer account when AI Booster is used?
Only to Amazon Bedrock. When you run an AI Booster feature, the source code and/or project artifacts that the feature is working on are sent to Amazon Bedrock as a prompt. The result is returned to your environment.
Is my data processed in an AWS Region other than the one where the AWS Transform for mainframe refactor project was created?
Amazon Bedrock may process the request in another AWS Region within the same geography as your project's Region, for example only EU Regions for an EU project. This happens automatically when Bedrock routes requests to balance capacity. For further detail, please check Geographic cross-Region inference and supported Regions for inference profiles.
Are the AI features available in all regions?
